Abstract

Building on the model by Eickelmann et al. (2015) and applying the model from Drossel et al. (2023a, 2023b), Mertens et al. (2024) have derived eight levels that extend school development related to digitalization in terms of inclusive media-based education. This publication explains the eight-level model and focuses on the concept of Distributed Leadership. Each level is illustrated with concrete examples from school practice, which can serve as good practice inspiration for implementation at the school development level. The result is a model proposal with approaches for implementing inclusive media-based school development and leadership in the sense of Distributed Digital Inclusive Leadership (VIMSE = Distributed Inclusive Media-Based School Development).
